Zeta Omega Chapter! 

 

In 1922, five women came together with a shared purpose: to establish a chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® dedicated to serving the Wilmington, Delaware community. Guided by their commitment to service, leadership, and sisterhood, they laid the foundation that became Zeta Omega. More than a century later, Zeta Omega is defined not only by longevity but by our ability to honor their vision through meaningful and impactful programs, partnerships, and service that uplift and strengthen our community.

 

As one of the oldest chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha, we take great pride in the rich legacy and long-standing history of our organization. Grounded in tradition and driven by excellence, Zeta Omega remains committed to Alpha Kappa Alpha’s mission of “Service to All Mankind.” Our programming is thoughtfully designed to align with and support Alpha Kappa Alpha’s “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood” international program initiatives, ensuring that our local efforts contribute to a broader, unified vision of service, empowerment, and lasting community impact.
